Chapter meetings are an essential, albeit difficult, way to communicate information and skills to members of your chapter. Many returning veterans don’t feel the need to come to chapter meetings as they “have heard it already” or any number of other excuses that imply that chapter meetings are nothing new. Granted, many things that chapters must cover in their meetings are to help inform new members about the basics and requirements of TSA, but there are so many reasons that members should always come to meetings. The ACS or American Cancer Society is a nonprofit health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem.
