Even though school is back into the swing-of-things, your state officers team would LOVE for you to join us at Leadership Camp from September 6-9, 2018 for four days full of learning and exciting activities. Since you may still be wondering what’s in store, this is the right place to be!
1. Seek Out Adventure!
There are plenty of heart-pounding thrills to find at Camp Widjiwagan! From the blob and slides on the lake to hiking the trails, there is plenty for all to enjoy! With endless space to pursue activities such as volleyball, ziplining, or to even just sit back to enjoy the breathtaking views, take some time to network and socialize with your fellow friends and state officers during your stay at Leadership Camp!
2. Show Off Your Talent!
Can you play the kazoo blindfolded, or sing like your favorite superstar? Then the talent show is right for you! Join us at the talent showcase on Saturday night with your props and music to go for the awards of “Best of Show” and “Most Entertaining!”
Anyone present at Camp Widjiwagan is eligible to participate, including advisors! You must sign up for the talent showcase during onsite camp registration, and your talent must be reviewed on Friday night.
3. Check Out Your Student Sessions!
Ever wondered what CTSO officers experience during their term in office? Check out the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Social Media Correspondent tracks facilitated by the CTSO state staff and national officers from many CTSOs across the state of Tennessee! Additionally, check out the workshops lead by your fellow state officers!
4. Be Sure to Meet New People!
With all seven wonderful CTSOs in the area, there are plenty of new people to meet and greet! Have you wanted to discuss cool business tips with an FBLA member, discuss LEAP resumes with someone from SkillsUSA, or tell a DECA member about your VEX trophies from this year’s national conference? Camp Widji is the greatest place to meet and network with your members from DECA, FBLA, SkillsUSA, and TSA!
5. Don't Forget to Register Before Time Runs Out!
Seriously, don’t forget to register! Be sure to have a signed release form with you, a camp code of conduct form, and a Camp Widji liability waiver/photo release form with you upon arrival. We want to ensure that you’ll have the best time possible while at camp with us!
