National TSA week (https://tsaweb.org/events-conferences/national-tsa-week ) (October 7-11, 2019) is a perfect opportunity to connect with members and chapters around the globe, all while spreading awareness and advocating for our organization!
1. Make Chapter Social Media Accounts:
Whether Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook(or maybe even all three) is your platform of choice, making a chapter social media account is a great way to both communicate with your members and meet other people involved with TSA. (Not sure how to start, check this out: http://www.tntsa.org/blog/how-to-start-a-tsa-instagram-account )
2. Post According to National TSA’s Daily Themes:
Using those social media accounts(as well as your personal ones), show your pride by posting once a day to celebrate some of the best parts of our organization:
Make sure to use #TNTSA and the national hashtag #TSANow when you share your posts. Follow these hashtags to connect and network with members across the globe.
4. Show Your Appreciation:
Use this week as an opportunity to reflect on who has helped you along your TSA journey and make sure to show your appreciation for them!
Outside of just connecting and advocating on social media, reach out to local organizations to spread community awareness of TSA.
Make sure to follow and tag us in your posts(@TennesseeTSA on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) If you have any questions please feel free to reach out over email or social media!
