Winter break is here! Since regionals are right around the corner, now is a great time to work on your events! Here are some good ways to keep organized and stay efficient over winter break.
Make An Agenda
Having a plan is the best way to ensure success! One great way to organize your agenda is by using the “priority timeline” format. In this format, the items in your agenda are given an order based on how important they are. They’re also given a specific timeframe to be completed in. This helps keep you motivated and on track so you can get everything done!
Set Small Goals
You tend to do a better job when you break a large task up into a few smaller tasks. This is because if you try to do everything at once you’re likely to overload yourself! A really important thing to do when you’re working on events is to eliminate distractions. One good way to do this is to move to a quiet room.
Winter break is a great time to do all the research you need for your events! It’s also a great time to get together with your team(s) and work on your events together. Brainstorming as a group can get you much farther than working by yourself!
Whether you’re traveling for the holidays or staying at home, there’s always something to work on. Make sure to try some stress-relieving activities, spend time with your family, and work hard on your events. Happy Holidays!
