Tennessee Technology Student Association (TSA)

 Partnership Opportunities

The Technology Student Association is a national, non-profit career and technical student organization (CTSO) recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. TSA prepares middle school and high school students for careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). In 2013-14, TSA had over 190,000 members in over 2,000 chapters across the United States. Over 5,000 of those members were from Tennessee!

We believe that business and industry leaders share our interest in creating a workforce that is ready for the future. TSA is integrated into the classroom and the STEM programs of study to provide classroom and chapter learning experiences that greatly enhance the overall development of future industry professionals. TSA is a student-led organization that gives members the opportunity to develop, practice, and refine the leadership and learning skills that leaders in business and industry greatly value. The national competitive events program serves as a motivational and educational tool to encourage TSA members to perform at the highest levels in the classroom as well as in regional, state, and national competitions. TSA offers over 60 national competitive events that are focused on areas such as STEM, IT, manufacturing, robotics, and arts/communication.

Tennessee TSA needs the help of business and industry leaders to serve as investors and partners in building a pipeline of future industry professionals who are motivated, goal-directed, and prepared to pursue the credentials required in their chosen area of specialization. Your help is needed to recruit and retain the best young people interested in STEM careers. A list of ways in which you can get involved can be found below. A customized list of opportunities can be developed upon request. Thus, we cordially invite you to become involved with Tennessee TSA. You will be able to interact with TSA members, watch them engage in various STEM events, and discover for yourself why thousands of students across the country see TSA as a creative, exciting, and important extension of their STEM education.

Thank you for your interest in the Tennessee Technology Student Association!
