FAQ #5

 

At any function sponsored by TSA, all officers, participants and guests shall abide by the Dress Code.  Unless otherwise noted, blue jeans and other casual attire are excluded from all functions.

 

Official Dress

Navy blue blazer with TSA patch.

White dress shirt with collar and sleeves

Gray dress slacks or gray dress skirt of appropriate length

Panty hose or dress socks

Black dress shoes

Scarlet (TSA-Pitsco) Tie or Jabot

 

Business Like Attire (minimum standards)

NOTE:  Business like attire must be appropriate.  Excessively revealing clothing, tennis shoes, hats, and denim are examples of INAPPROPRIATE attire.

 

Blouse or Collared shirt with sleeves.

Dress slacks or dress skirt of appropriate length

Business like Jacket/Blazer

Tie

Panty hose or dress socks

Dress shoes

 

Casual Attire:

Casual Attire may be worn in free time only.  It may not be worn when observing events, competing or attending other conference activities unless so stated by the state advisor.

 

All shirts must have sleeves

Skirts and shorts must reach past the fingertips when hands are placed at sides.

No hats shall be worn in buildings.

Pants must be worn at the waistline.  “Sagging” is prohibited.

No Midriff-bearing, strapless, halter or excessively revealing clothing may be worn.

Clothing that advertises alcoholic products, drugs or displays vulgar or suggestive words and/or pictures

are strictly prohibited.
