What is the ACS? The American Cancer Society (ACS), National TSA’s service partner, is a voluntary health organization dedicated to the research, treatment, and elimination of cancer. Every year, TSA chapters are encouraged to participate in and host fundraisers to raise money for this organization.
Regional Conference Fundraiser: This year, at each regional conference, TNTSA will be hosting a “coin jar fundraiser.” Bring your extra change and money to donate throughout the day. Each region will compete against each other to see who can raise the most money for the American Cancer Society.
Annual Fundraising Competition: Each year, Tennessee TSA hosts a statewide challenge to raise money for the ACS. Each chapter will race to raise the most money for the ACS before state conference. The chapters who raise the most will win the competition, be recognized on social media, and receive a special award at the state conference. For fundraising ideas, check the resources on our website. Good luck to everyone!
