Carson BockPRESIDENT
Hello Tennessee TSA, my name is Carson Bock and I am beyond excited to be serving as your 2020-2021 State President. I am currently a senior at Signal Mountain Middle/High School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
I joined TSA in 6th grade and quickly became obsessed with the organization and the leadership opportunities it provided. I have been blessed to serve as state Sergeant-at-Arms and as Chapter President. I’ve loved the opportunity to compete in a variety of events at all levels of TSA. Through my exposure to different STEM fields, as a result of my involvement in TSA, I aspire to pursue a career in civil engineering. I hope to advocate for education in my free time and plan to also get a degree in public policy. When I am not participating in TSA, you might find me at play rehearsal as a stage manager, taking pictures, working with UnifiED to improve my school system, or participating in other extracurriculars (like Mock Trial, Model UN, National Honor Society, or Hamilton County Youth Court). Over this year, I would like to increase our state support of the American Cancer Society, while also making TSA more accessible for new students and advisors. I am truly privileged to be serving on your 2020-2021 State Officer team, and I’m thrilled with the opportunity to become even more involved with this amazing organization. I encourage everyone reading this to pursue further involvement in this organization, as I can confidently say that my involvement in TSA has changed my life for the better. |
