Lena Feleke

PRESIDENT
[email protected]

Hello Tennessee TSA! My name is Lena Feleke, and I am truly honored and excited to serve as your 2024-2025 State President. Currently, I am a senior at Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School in Nashville, Tennessee.

In 6th grade, I was hesitant about joining TSA, but I ended up joining without expecting much. However, I am now happy that I joined, as TSA gave me a supportive family that has encouraged me to strive within leadership and technology. I have gained important professional skills that have enabled me to thrive and become a more active and participatory person in various settings. I learned from not only the competitive events TSA offered but also from the experiences and interactions I encountered due to it. My favorite TSA event is Data Science and Analytics, as it has allowed me to combine my interests in technology and healthcare. After being on the Membership Committee and serving as a state officer, I have gained a fervent passion for serving this organization, and I grateful for gaining the opportunity to continue doing so this year.

Outside of TSA, you can find me participating in extracurriculars like Science Olympiad and HOSA, volunteering in my community, or learning new things!

Utilizing my experience from last year, I hope to continue the growth of TNTSA. This year, my main goals are increasing outreach to individuals and entities both inside and outside of the organization and improving the accessibility and effectiveness of the resources developed. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to work with Team 47 to continue improving our state delegation for the better!
